seven days in marysville

we obviously love taking pictures of ourselves in the car

these days it's starting to feel like we live more in the car than we do in our house!

as usual, it is HOT in NC. my sisters, olive and i have been having fun playing in lots of water this week.

olive is in love with the big pool in my parent's neighborhood. when it was time to leave the first time we went, she threw her obligatory tantrum, and after a while stopped and sighed, "that's a nice pool."

we're driving down south tomorrow to spend the long weekend with my family, and i'm pretty sure olive and i are going to stay the rest of the week, though matt is going to have to come home monday to work.

i am most excited for a week of not having to cook, or do dishes. (just kidding grace.)

actually i'm most excited to spend time with my people, swim in their awesome community pool, go shopping and eat the amazing gluten free chocolate cake my sister has promised to make me.

while we were in ohio, we stopped in zanesville, where my husband spent a lot of time growing up. we drove up to putnam hill park, to snap a few shots of the city and its famous "y - bridge."

a big storm

we watched a big storm roll in today, at my brother and sister in laws' house. it was the best kind of storm - dramatic, just scary looking enough to be exciting, and it did nothing more than give all the grass and trees a good soaking.
