We spent last weekend at Pipestem State Park in WV.

Someone made a new friend, while we were there.

The drive was long, and the kids didn't travel too well.

And our room was tiny and none of us got much sleep.

But the park was beautiful, the weather glorious and we enjoyed seeing some 

family members there that we haven't seen in a while.

we were blessed with perfect weather last weekend, and decided to pack a little picnic dinner to take to antietam battlefield in MD. it was an awesome evening.

we hope there are more fun picnics in store this summer!

just around town

this week, we got to do a little shopping at our favorite store ever..

and we got to go to daddy's favorite store ever [lowe's] to look at paint chips and carpet samples for our little renovation project we've got going on upstairs..

and we've spent looooots of time at various parks. 'cause this little girl has too much energy.
