goodwill hunting

today i went treasure hunting by myself at our local goodwill. it was fun playing dress up with the vintage dresses. i'm still a little girl at heart. :)

date-day

my wonderful in-laws watched olive for matt and i saturday, while we enjoyed a leisurely afternoon/evening to ourselves. we had the best time...in one day we crammed in:
-antique shop browsing (where i scored three vintage detachable collars for $12!)
-ice cream and dinner out
-a live production of the musical, "1776" (turned out to be not that great, but it's always fun seeing a live performance.)
-LOTS of talking. and laughing. which we needed very much.

there needs to be more date days this summer!
